Trying to use 'Folder' option in 'Page Viewer Web Part'

Hello and Thank You for reading.

I am using Sharepoint services as included with SBS 2003 R2.

In designing our company's 'companyweb' Intranet page, I am interested in using the Pgae Viewer Web Part to display contents of a folder.

Using URL's in the web part works with no problems, but 'folder' option doesnt seem to work.

Say I browse in windows explorer to C:\InetPub, copy the path from the address bar, then paste it into the Page Viewer Web Part after selecting 'folder' radio button, the web part just stays blank, and sometimes get an error in the bottom left of Sharepoint saying 'error on page'.

The only folder I have got the web part to display is by typing \\pcname (where pcname is actually the name of the server'.

What I really, most ideally want to achieve, is to show either Windows Explorer ITSELF in the page viewer web part, or at least the root of a drive that we have only shared information on. I cannot just put all these folders into a parent directory and point the web part to it, as I cannot change the paths to this shared information on the disk.

So, short of opening Windows Explorer in the web part, the next best thing is to show all folder from the root of D:, where D: is the drive letter of the drive containing our shared information.

But alas, I cannot even get the web part in question to show C:\InetPub, as explained in a popular Sharepoint user guide.

All help is much appreciated, thank you agian.
