How to convert Win 8 Desktop to Win 7 look alike DT wiuth Start button
How do I convert the standard Windows 8 Desktop to a Windows 7 lookalike desktop with a Start button and the Start button menu is similar to the Win 7 Start button menu with maybe some variations or maybe some improvements or new items.
I have heard that by pressing come combinations of keys, this conversion of Windows 8 Desktop to Win 7 look alike DT is supported by MS and also very easy to do and USE LONG TERM.
Please reply with what combination of keys I use to achieve the above.
Regards,
Mike

Thanks to both joewinograd for his detailed reply on clamsell plus to tailordigital for both of his last two posts.
Regarding the interface I prefer I went to http://www.classicshell.net/ ans scrolled DOWN a bit and clicked the Win 7 tab and saw a very nice screen shot of the Win 7 interface including its Start button menu and that apealed to me.
Points will be awarded tomorrow as I still seek any Good FREE alternatives to http://www.classicshell.net/

Hoiwever I would like to not close this quite so soon after posting and encourage other EE Windows 8 and 7 experts to possibly reply with more alternative solutions.
I will probably close and award points with some points (all points if no one else replies with a good alternative that works now) going to the two above replies. And this will be done by sometime tommorrow 7/10/13.
