I already tried that solution. There is some trace of office left. Even though it is not present in the add/remove programs. I cannot remove the old one at all. It looks like it is having a problem removing the old office which is 2003 before installing 2007. Any help will be great. Is there a tool I can use to remove office completely. I tried ork.exe and that did not work. I do not want to reformat my HDD just to install office.

That did not work either. For some reason office will not be removed. I manually deleted registry keys. I can install a lower version and remove it but it will not work. This is crazy.

I googled everything. I already went through this solution to and it did not work. I will run another instance of the WICU again. If that does not work then I have no choice but to reformat the computer. I am hoping this is not the only solution.

By the way. This is a stand alone machine and only connected to a wireless network at home. The email is from an ISP. I get an operation failed error no matter what I do in outlook. It seems not to be fully registered.

Thank you all for time and knowledge on this scenario. The problem has been resolved. Office 2003 is installed and fully functionally without reformatting the drive.
Thank you and good luck as you move forward ... T
