Stuck in voice control mode on your Amazon Firestick?  Here is how to turn it off!!!
Recently my toddler got a hold of my remote for my Amazon Firestick.  The next thing I know I can't get the remote to work correctly.  I know here a lady's voice when I try to move the cursor around, and while trying to fire up Netflix, the voice keeps saying the "button is not clickable".  My remote does not have voice controls, so I effectively could not use the remote.

It turns out my toddler had turned on voice controls via the remote.  Turning it off is really easy but not intuitive.

To turn it off just hold down the menu and the back button at the same time.  The lady's voice will tell you that voice controls are turned off and you can use your remote again.  Hopefully this article helps you figure it out faster than the 30 minutes it took me.

Mine is not a ladies voice. I've tried this and it does not work. Mine sounds like a computer talking to me. How do I turn it off? It's driving me nuts

Sean do you still have the menu and back buttons on your remote?  Try holding them down together for at least ten seconds and see if that works
