This article helps you to connect to Exchange Online PowerShell (Office 365 tenant) with Windows10/11 PowerShell in 3 easy steps . You need only PowerShell on your computer, which is shipped by default with any new version of Windows.
The Exchange Online PowerShell module uses Modern Authentication for connecting to all Exchange-related PowerShell environments in Office 365: Exchange Online PowerShell, Security & Compliance PowerShell, and standalone Exchange Online Protection (EOP) PowerShell. PowerShell and ExchangeOnlineManagement Module
  1. Open and elevated PowerShellort Module ExchangeOnlineManagement using the following command.


  2. Initiate a connection to Exchange Online PowerShell using the following command.
    Enter username and password when you get a popup like the following.

    And the code sent to the registered number or allow on Microsoft Authenticator.
                        Or  Approve from Microsoft Authenticator app
  3. Once authentication is successful you can see it importing commands
  4. Once the commands are received/imported you are connected to Exchange Online PowerShell and can run Exchange commands in Exchange Online PowerShell.
