Hopefully you'll forgive me for being blunt, but what is the point of this article? Is it just a summary of the Internet? What do I gain from reading this article? It seems to be just a quick blurb about different uses of the Internet, and then a bunch of links for me to go out and research for myself. I'm not saying that one shouldn't do their own research regarding such things, but I would have expected you to give me your opinion and/or experience with some of the sites you mentioned.

Your introduction, if we can truly call it that, is really bland. It does nothing to capture my interest to read the rest of the article. Why not recount a story where you were benefited by one of the platforms you highlight? If you can't get my attention in the first paragraph, how can you hope to keep my attention throughout the rest of the article?

Each of the descriptions of your "platforms" are more or less of the same caliber. Here are a couple of points that just jump out at me:

Why is it better? I can talk to people in other parts of the world using a standard telephone, so why does using the Internet to communicate with other individuals benefit me more?

You mean I can become a heart surgeon in the comfort of my own living room just by taking classes over the Internet? Now where did that dog go...

Are there any limitations to online education? What about accredited schools versus non-accredited (in the U.S.)? Are there any disciplines which can not be conducted online? I can learn how to make gouda cheese from a YouTube video. Can I get a decent job by saying, "I learned how to secure a corporate network by watching these 5 YouTube videos?"

So that you can send are receive money while sitting in your home comfortably and in very effective manner.
Am I just posting money out on the wire for anyone to grab? Why would I want to use such services? Would I send money to the butcher using PayPal so that later that day I can drop by his shop and pick up that leg of lamb I ordered? I would have expected to see some examples of where using such a service would benefit me outside of my daily routine.

Do understand that I am no professional author myself, and I am still trying to work out my own authoring style. I say all of the above as more of a "consumer" rather than a "peer". You've got a decent topic to work with; I think you just need to make it a bit more engaging and personal (with respect to opinion and/or experience).
