XenApp 6.5 public and limited hotfix quick reference

List of available Hotfixes 2012-02-20

I was reading through all the hotfixes available for XenApp 6.5, to decide what to add to my new lab environment.

I compiled this quick reference to get access to all important information about the available hofixes and the problems they will solve.

Conclusion:
Don't publish all of the listed updates !

I recommend installing the Hotfixes GPMx150WX64002 and GPMx150WX64001by default, you don't like loose any configured polices.

If you like to publish "Additional Communications Software" like Citrix GoToMeeting, Skype, Adobe Connect roll out XA650W2K8R2X64002 by default.



Public Hotfixes for XenApp 6.5 for Windows Server 2008 R2

Hotfix XA650W2K8R2X64014

1. Reconnect/disconnected to a session is interrupted by a license error and fails.
2. Reconnection to a locked published desktop fails:
      "Element Not Found"
      "The Network Connection Doesn't Exist"
3. RDP session with a XenApp 6.5 from a Win XP fail when using 29+ char UPN

1. Reconnecting to a disconnected session where the wall paper is set using a GPO,  wallpaper is no longer set.
2. No connection to XenApp 6 using a NOERROR lic file
3. When shadowing, win32k.sys, vdtw30.dll files leave the session unresponsive. Session cannot be reset.
