Are you thinking about creating an Amazon Web Services account for your business? Not sure where to start? In this course you’ll get an overview of the history of AWS and take a tour of their user interface.
You’ll learn there is a wrong way and a right way to set up your account to help prevent a security breach. Instructor David Fraas will brief you on the security services within AWS and show you how to keep your account secure.
In this course, Fraas will provide a review of all the AWS network services to prepare you to set up your network.
Fraas then transitions to a storage overview. Whether you need short-term storage or long-term document storage, you’ll be given an overview of all your options.
Last, but not least, you’ll get an explanation of EC2 instances, cost, and ways to save. Once you learn this, the course will launch several EC2 instances to show you how to setup and connect to a Windows server. Once these instances are up and running, you will connect to them using SSH, Install Apache, and MySQL. You will also learn how to attach and detach EBS volumes and learn how to add to another EC2. After that, you’ll see how easy it is to terminate them all.
