This course will guide you through the Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA). We will begin with an overview of wireless communication and how it has evolved over time as well as the different agencies that are regulating the use of radio frequency.

We will then dive into the fundamentals of Radio Frequency (RF), including the components, measurements, signal concepts, and the IEEE 802.11 standards we must abide by. We will take a look at Spread Spectrum Technologies, as well as MAC and WLAN architecture and deployment.Then, we will address troubleshooting and the importance of security when it comes to wireless data usage. Learn to identify the different types of wireless attacks and the policies that can be put in place to help prevent these issues. Finally, we will discuss site survey tools and protocol as well as spectrum analysis.
The CWNA certification is the foundation level enterprise Wi-Fi certification for the CWNP Program. CWNA certification will get you started in your wireless career by ensuring you have the skills to successfully survey, install, and administer enterprise Wi-Fi networks. As the market and usage of wireless increases, the demand for this certification will increase. The CWNA is also required for your CWSP, CWAP, CWDP, and CWNE certifications.
