This course covers the basic functions and features of Word 2010. After an in-depth introduction to Word's window components, participants will learn how to use the help system and navigate documents. Participants will then move on to learning how to enter and edit text, create and save documents, and how to enhance the appearance of a document by using various formatting options. In addition, participants will also create tables, insert headers and footers, proof and print documents, and insert graphics.

This is the first course in the Microsoft Office Word 2010 path. Upon completion of this course, continue this path by taking Microsoft Office Word 2010 Intermediate.
Office 2013 combines cloud and web technologies to extend the way you create and consume information and introduces a new cloud app model for you to build secure and flexible apps—all discoverable from the familiar Office interface.
