In this course, we will learn how to employ effective business communication. This includes verbal and nonverbal communication, written communication, electronic communication, and graphic communication. We will conclude by discussing how to work effectively for your boss.
In business communication, we will look at identifying basic communication techniques, as well as formal and informal communication.
In verbal and nonverbal communication, we will discuss body language, effective presentations, and the fundamentals of productive meetings.
In written communication, we will look at written communication development, common errors that require proofreading, gender specification, and general document writing.
For electronic communication, we will go over etiquette for phone calls, voicemails, and emails.
We will learn how to communicate with graphics and how to use graphics for business communication, static information, and dynamic information.
To learn how to effectively work for your boss, we will look at representing your boss, communicating his or her decisions, and building a lasting partnership.

I earned my MBA and MS in Leadership and Business Ethics at Duquesne University. In addition, I have my Ph.D. in organizational development and leadership from Capella University.
