This course will provide you with a process for developing a clear understanding of your business’s culture, operations, and market position, while facilitating the development of a strategic blueprint for getting the competitive advantage necessary for your business’s success now and in the future.

This course will first instruct you on how to prepare for the strategic planning process, including setting parameters, beginning a preliminary planning phase, and involving stakeholders. You will learn how to establish a committee as well as gather operational data.

Next, you will learn how to initiate the strategic planning process by developing a vision statement, accessing internal and external environments, and performing SWOT Analysis.

You will then learn how to develop the strategic plan by setting goals and objectives, developing strategy for achieving goals, and drafting the strategic plan.

Lastly, you will learn how to execute the plan and establish a monitoring system.
