In this video course, we will be looking at all the major objectives for CompTIA Network+, as well as practical information to help you implement these skills not only in your professional careers but in your everyday life. This will prepare you for the exam and your career beyond this exam.
We will begin with an overview of networking and fundamental components that are required for proper computer network connection. We will then dive into network standards and the OSI reference model, which will lead us into the basics of network communication and problem solving.
Next, we will work on understanding TCP/IP, the major network protocol, and how it ultimately affects the internet. You will develop an understanding of IPV4 and ITV6 and how they are composed, as well as their required configuration. We’ll take a look at the network devices, otherwise known as the physical components that connect to the network, including routers, switches, hubs, and bridges.
Lastly, we will explore the practice of building highly available and scalable networks as well as practices in maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
