Well,

I dropped a comment in this week's discussion of Code Release
Jessica says the line number thing is only an issue in IE 11 and is a known issue.
Date of line numbers returning to IE 11 -- May 6, 2016
So I am not losing my mind :)
Or not in this regard at any rate.

OK.
I have a Q posted here
https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/28951285/Opening-multiple-instance-of-an-MS-Access-report-that-has-subreports.html

Has anyone run multiple instances of a report in Access.
Allen Browne has code for forms, but I've got complex reports of which I am tasked with showing multiple instances.
Lots of fun errors result

I posted this as a new discussion and also here so hopefully everyone gets the message.

Some major changes are occurring and coming at EE.:

In short, EE HQ has taken over site administration, and Q&A at some point will become free.

Access expert ... because they can figure out everything :)

I am helping on this thread:
https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/28966112/Access-Mail-Merge-Fails-With-Sharepoint-Tables.html

but something came up and I won't be able to help for awhile.  The poster (Mitch) uploaded samples to play with. He needs to do a Word Mail Merge with Access data using ADO (as opposed to DAO) -- would you please help?

thanks

respectfully,
crystal

Question on web databases, which I'm not sure I understand.

I only jumped in because it sounded simple and the first two comments I thought were taking him in the wrong direction.

I have not worked with web databases at all (I've never found them to be a solution for any project I've had, and I absolutely detest working in the macro editor<g>), but based on the last comment, I'm not sure I'm even understanding the question at this point (language seems to be an issue).

Anyway, it's taken a turn beyond what I thought and I'm not sure how to answer it.   Plus I leave for vacation in a couple of days, so time is extremely short at the moment.

If you could all have a look and see if it's something you might take on, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,
Jim.
