Attachments with no extension

Here is an example:
http://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/28705719/Problem-populating-combo-box-with-store-procedure-in-C.html

Authors attachment turned out to be a .zip file.. Is this a problem with extremely long filenames or .zips with mixed content

Anyohe seen the c-users-username-folder-filename with no extension recently or has that bug been quashed.

I'm not too concerned with it as long as it doesn't affect the actual upload. So at the moment it's not really even on a watch-list.

It does affect comprehension of supporting text if attachments are mentioned though.

For example, references to the names of the two attachments on this comment:

OK. This is definitely a case we'd want to get resolved based on what we're seeing in that comment. If anyone has information on the browser they're experiencing this bug with it would be super helpful (assuming it is tied to a specific browser).
