Truly and honestly, what a bunch of thick headed stupid maroons.  The lot of them combined do not have an IQ that adds up to 2.

Again, what is the balance of upside vs downside of such a statement?  Where is the value proposition in putting your systems at risk to win an internet argument against strangers?

I do not understand you. I do NOT put my systems (computer or otherwise) to win an argument. I never have.

I deleted the comment John replied to at ID: 1906465
The contents of that comment would be child's play to recreate, but in retrospect they were rude, and I regretted posting it even in redacted form.

@John
"If people here are telling me I am hackable / get hacked, they should stand behind the statements and prove it. "
You have dared acquaintances to attempt a criminal act.
I would not take your acquaintances' demurral as any kind of evidence that such an act is not possible.
I will leave you to your self-assurance.
I hope it indeed proves to be as future-proof as it has in the past.

Now, where's the 'stop monitoring' button?

IMHO there's no system that's totally secure... Only programmers and developers with a very good security and networking knowledge know the accurate meaning of such statement.

Ever wondered why most secure OS have the least number of programmers? FreeBSD and Unix are two of the most secure OS out there. I used to work for an oil company and those companies operate their millions of dollars cost oil rigs on UNIX systems. and Unix administrators are probably the best paid IT jobs in these companies especially those with good security knowledge about UNIX but still Oil companies always expect their systems to be hacked.

I agree that there is no TOTALLY Secure system. What I said was  "6000 days, no transgressions, that is secure". And it is.

In addition, the only two people who use the home desktop computer have a good deal of common sense and do not go to dodgy places and who delete questionable emails directly.
