Hey Krister,

You can change the OAB Generation Work Cycle. Which by default updates every 1 day. You can change it to a smaller amount of time. You may not want to set this too frequently though, especially if you are a large organization with thousands of mail-enabled items.

More info on setting the Generation Cycle Here.

Thanks Gareth!

We have aprox 12000 mailboxes so your right, not to often :-)

I started to dig a bit more and when I checked in OL i get a error code when syncing OAB. Couldnt find object. I guess that has something arround the autodiscover and the virtual directorys for oab but how can I test that?

I would run the Synchronization, Notification, Availability, and Automatic Replies test from www.exrca.com. Usually a good starting point.

Found it in GPO settings. It didnt speed up the OAB download but bypassed it so it first look in the Online GAL and then in the cached GAL and since most of my users are actually on fixed pc its ok.

Thanks for the input!
