Expert Awards Update

We have pulled in everyone's sizes who redeemed their award shirts and have sent the order to our designer.  We estimate that we'll be shipping the awards to everyone the beginning of April.

Congratulations to all the winners!!

Contact me if you have any questions about the process.

Well, I once made Titan #1 which was mentioned in my profile back then,
but vanished in the course of profile redesign ...

@Merete, you are awarded in the top 10 ranking, meaning that you qualify for a Top Expert 2014 shirt, that you can choose to redeem. Joe is right, in that these do not auto-show in your profile.  You can update your profile to mention that you were a Titan top 10 expert in 2014.

@Joe, regarding the question you had earlier. The discrepancy that you're seeing in what is published for topic areas is because the calculations we're running for these is based on solution points only. We are planning to update some of the top 10 awards like Rookie of the Year and Top Expert to reflect total points earned overall.

Thanks for that! Yes, that's what I'm looking for, but the data in the first block can't be correct for 2014. I know this because I tracked the Document Imaging TA carefully in 2014 and it had 220,718 points. But the list in your first block, which is sorted descending by points, shows Microsoft Server at 222,513 and the next one as Microsoft Office Suite at 204,848. Document Imaging should be there at 220,718 points. From where did you get that data? Regards, Joe

Ah, got it! That's why Gary was #1 Expert this year, not Andrew — Andrew's article points didn't count. My biggest gripe is still that a Topic with more than 200,000 points in it doesn't qualify for the Titan award. Bah, humbug! :)  Based on Paul's list, 220K points would likely qualify in the Top 50 of Topics overall for 2014, even if the list included more than just solution points.
