Currently I'm a Technical Specialist for the Federal Govt. and currently oversee all LAN / WAN infrastructure in two buildings housing 1500 users. I'm also a member of an Adminstrator Team overseeing a large zone with 11 sites and 3000 users in total.
I spent 2002 overseeing our new ITIL-based Service Desk system and our Configuration Management process. 2003 saw me responsible for IT Services/Infrastructure in our Remote Sites.
Certifications from Microsoft, Dell, Compaq/HP, Cisco (and more) including ITIL Service Management Certification.
I have several years experience with Windows NT/95/98/2000/XP operating systems / networks. I dabble in VB (mostly remote network administration applications) but you'll find me mostly in the Hardware TA's.
15 years experience with hardware- troubleshooting, building PC's, etc. Oh, I recently celebrated my 22nd anniversary in the I.T. industry, making me a true dinosaur in our field.
