Full Biography

I'm a long-time network administrator then architect who started during the MS-DOS over Novell days, transitioned to Windows clients and servers, and ended up working with Cisco IOS-based routers, switches, and security appliances. My feet are now firmly planted in Cisco firewalls and SourceFire IPS systems. The interim is peppered with enterprise-level messaging systems and network management architecture experience. I've been in a technical support role and technical procurement, have led teams as an implementation manager (including server staging), and consistently performed as a technical trainer.
