Responsible for monitoring, maintaining and overseeing all aspects of network/user management and operations, including technical, automated and system related tasks. • Responsible for investigating, analyzing, implementing, documenting and supporting computer hardware, software, LAN and WAN applications. • Responsible to negotiate, administer contracts with the guidance of VP, Business Technology. • Responsible for the implementation of network and systems directives, policies and procedures. • Implement, manage and complete technical projects. • Answer and log all telephone and e-mail technical support inquiries/requests into the call tracking system. • Research, resolve, and provide guidance and information to questions and problems concerning PC application, network connectivity, and use of hardware and software systems via telephone calls and emails in a timely manner. • Maintain all service packs for client operating systems and servers when needed. • Maintained Nortel PBX and Cisco VoIP systems. • Responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers and server software. • Responsible for data backup, migration, replication, and management • Review and evaluate new equipment and software offerings and recommend for purchase, as appropriate; advise users on hardware and software alternatives; determine standards for selection of software.
