Full Biography

After I got fed up with my former job (laboratory / QA), I looked for something else and started a new career in what used to be (and still is) my hobby: programming.

I started my IT career in the (small) contracting company in The Hague (Netherlands) that gave me the opportunity to start over again: Eliantie IT Professionals.  I started in Lotus Notes R3 and worked my way through R4, R4.5 / 4.6, R5, R6.x and up. Got certified as Principal CLP for R4.x and R5 and as IBM Certified Application Developer - Lotus Notes and Domino for R6/6.5 and R7.
I have helped out at "big ones" like ING Bank, Heineken and ABN AMRO and currently work at PUM Netherlands Senior Experts (international assistance in economic development), putting effort in the upgrade to 8.5.
In 2011 I've left contracting business and made the switch to PUM Netherlands Senior Experts, quite close to home. Just as I try to help people with my expertise here on EE, PUM aims to help businesses in emerging markets, by sending over our voluntary "senior experts".

I am married (since 95) and two sons (may 2001 / september 2003). There's no personal Homepage currently online: too many ideas, too little time and more important: nothing much to tell the world.

Other hobbies: I love holidays (the further/longer the better) and photography (Canon 350D) and enjoy and ice skating and skeelering. I gave up Rollerhockey (inline- / skaterhockey) only a gew years back and can't make up my mind what to do instead. I might pick up (scuba) diving again with a few collegues, or join my kids' hockey club in a veterans team.

And in case you wonder: "CRAK" are my initials!

PS: I am no longer acting as PE or ZA for the Lotus topic areas. I'm just another one of the experts again.
