I am an amateur tinkerer with computers. I've owned several IBM ThinkPad laptops and upgraded all of them. It's the only brand of laptop I'll buy... if I have to support it.

I've built several machines, and have wired and wireless networks at home. I've used every version of Windows since 3.0 (except Me), and Linux since Red Hat 7.0.

I have a PalmOS PDA, and have used a wide variety of software, from Office to media authoring.
