Hey! My name is Eddie. Check out this blog to learn more about my role in the EE community https://www.experts-exchange.com/articles/
More bioMy name is Eddie and I am here to be the face of a new initiative designed to proactively create content that will attract new members to EE who share our community mission, values, and passion for technology.
The vast majority of our members found EE because they had a question, googled it, and EE content (questions, articles, videos, etc.) showed up in the search results. They clicked on that content and realized "Wow, that's exactly what I was looking for. Maybe I should check this place out."
After joining, they discovered that there is great content on this platform because there are great people on this platform.
Since we know for a fact that this is how most members end up finding (and falling in love with) the EE community, we are taking proactive steps to help create more content that will give potential EE members a better chance of finding the community and meeting all of our members.
So, I will be doing research to improve the SEO of community content (and solving crimes 🙂).
Part of the SEO research is identifying keywords that are performing well in search results. As well as identifying popular topics where we could make more content. We want to know what keywords and topic areas could have more content and spark more conversations in the community.
I will be asking advice / research questions that won't get too far into the technical weeds. They will be asked in a way to encourage conversation around best practices, methodologies, and opinions.
