More bioJoined RCAF 1959. Graduated from U of Alberta 1963, BSc Mech Eng. Wings in 1964. Advanced fighter training and then France 1965, Germany, 1967 and back to Canada in 1970. Took the advanced Aerospace Systems Course in 1972/73 and went to Cold Lake, AB as a system Test Pilot until 1977. Command staff job in Winnipeg until 1980 and then civy street in 1980. Worked for Bombardier, then CAE Electronics and wound up as the CAE Program Manager for software development for the CF-18 fighter in 1986. Retired in 2000 and sailed around the world during a 25 month period - 200 ports, 59 shipmates (only three did the whole trip), 32,000 nm. What an experience. During my PM experience I used Access to develop the database to manage and bill the CAE portion of the support program. I have since discovered EE and joined as I needed help in a few areas of my other ventures - namely medical support as my wife is a doctor.
