Actual Project
--------------------------
Working on an Application Server ("topasWorks") which will, again, be "ultrafast and leightweight" :), allready used in "minimal form" by clients such as T-Online. The server is service-driven, as known from Windows NT 4/5, XP and daemons used in Unix. Implemented redundant connectors to all major databases, LDAP, CORBA, internal minimal http-server(s), jobs/chronjobs. Implementing scalable architecture for more machines to cluster the services over the complete intra/extranet, if desired.
Zero administration for updates of modules/services, to say you won't have to restart the server if you plug in new code or switch of parts for maintenance. Administration over a "unix"-stylish telnet-shell, where states can be viewed/changed, batches can be written etc, etc.
To say it short: Interesting thingie, that ;-)
