I have a well-rounded background in C++ programming and am currently a freshman at the California State Polytechnic Univeristy in San Luis Obispo majoring in computer engineering. My knowledge of C++ covers basic language concepts such as encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism, and operater over-loading. In addition my more advance repetoire of C++ know-ledge includes templates, multiple inheritance, exceptions, dynamic storage mangement, reference counting, virtual constructors, handle classes, proxy classes, the Standard Template Library, basic data structures, and fundamental design patterns. Much of this knowledge I have gained through independent readings from noted C++ experts that include Scott Meyers, James Coplien, Robert Murray, Tom Cargill,  Margaret Ellis, Bjarne Stroustrup, and Bruce Eckel. I also keep tabs on new C++ developments from the following magazines: "C++ Report", "C/C++ User's Journal", and "Dr. Dobb's Journal". And finally I regulary read postings on the Usenet newsgroups comp.lang.c++.moderated and comp.std.c++.
