More bioI have the desire to become a Software Engineer. I spent 12 years working in Nuclear Power and I was good at it, but I didn't find my passion until I got out of the Navy and changed my job field to IT. I started as Tech Support, and I am still Tech Support for all of my family and friends. My future will be as a software developer. I get asked from time to time what I've done on my own for building software, and the answer is this: Not much. It's not that I don't care, or that I'm lazy. I have a full time job, and I am a full time student, and I have a family at home. I'm sure once I'm not in school any more I will start building solutions with my free time, but for right now, I don't have the ability to squeeze anything more into my schedule right now. This doesn't mean that it isn't my passion either. I love building solutions at work and seeing them implemented. That is how I know I want to be a software engineer.
