Worked for four years towards a Masters Degree in Information Systems by research on the topic of "Supporting government officials to improve the quality of spreadsheet applications they use", but did not complete the degree.

May 1970 to Nov 1989   Commercial banker  for neary 20 years.
Dec 1989 to Oct 1994    Economist and development planners for 4 years.
Oct 1994 to Jun 1998    Chief Director in the Eastern Cape Provincial Government (ECPG) Department of Economic Affairs.
Jul 1998 to Jan 2004      Chief Director in the Provincial Treasury of the ECPG.
Feb 2004 to Oct 2009    Chief Director in the Department of Education, but held against a post of Director for Information Technology.
Feb 2010 to Dec 2011   Lecturer in Information Systems at the University of Fort Hare, East London.
Mar 2012 to Dec 2013  Information Systems consultant with EOH.
Jan 2014 to the present   Director of SEBIS providing end-user computing training and software development services.
