I've been working in the software industry since 1980. I've got a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona (combination of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science).

I've written machine code (ones and zeros), fixed assemblers, written various operating system utilities and drivers (UNIX and larger systems), managed systems (i.e. I was a system manager), written embedded software for the Department of Defense, and X-Windows software.

At my prior employer I wrote WordBasic (the predecesor to VBA for Word), VBA for Word, VBA extentions to PROGRESS (a 4th Generation Language), and Lotus Script (Lotus Notes VBA implementation).

I'm currently employed as a software consultant.

I'm doing web authoring, Java, JavaScript, and CGI scripting using C/C++ (mostly on WindowsNT).
