Hey there!

I'm a 30-something guy who has been involved with computers since the very early days of 300 baud modems.  I've built and tore down, repaired and installed more windows systems than I care to admit. I've done everything from repair, to networking, to sysadmin to Certification and Accreditation (C&A).  Now working as a Computer Security Incident Responder for a major global government integrator.

In addition to my regular IR duties, I also practice and study Computer Forensics and use both Helix and Encase FE as my primary tools, which is why you will likely see me reference these tools anytime I answer a question about forensic tools.
I am not affiliated with either company, I just like their tools.
