Key Areas and Responsibility

Lead on system, integration and interface development projects.
Work as part of a team to develop functional systems using industry standard programming languages and frameworks.
Provide Leadership, Technical Support and guidance for the Senior Solution Developers.
Provide expert technical support in relation to systems integration and interfacing, medical device integration, systems rationalisation and development.
Lead the development and support for bespoke software, interface and integration solutions. Ensure that a high-quality IT service is provided to all users of trust systems in accordance with defined policies, procedures and service level agreements.
On occasions to deputise for the Solutions and Interfaces Lead.
Create software code according to established standards.
Design, develop, test, deploy and support digital solutions (clinical, administrative and information) and systems integration.
Present proposed and completed developments to product owners, project teams and other stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to the change control process.
Develop a good understanding of the needs and requirements of the end users, together with in depth knowledge of the operation of systems to ensure they support the intended workflows and objectives.
Responsible for dealing with development, system integration and interface enquiries, problems and requests received via the Service Desk in accordance with the SLA and for liaising with third parties as required.
Act as an escalation point within the Solution Development Team for development, system integration and interface enquiries, incidents and problems.
Manage the Integration Engine (TIE), Clinical Data Repository and related software, in accordance with requirements of national standards and local requirements.
Develop software, system integration, interfaces in accordance with change processes and/or project requirements, and provide communication/updates in line with project or progress reporting.
Providing specialist professional advice and support to clinical and operational teams in relation to system integration and interfaces for clinical and non-clinical systems.
Act as a role model for the Senior Solution Developers
