PKI Expert with over a decade dedicated to certificate & encryption key management.
More bioGenerally rounded tech/admin. Over the 15+ years that I have been working in IT, I have supported a large variety of hardware, software, networking, and support for a mind numbing amount of different technologies. I have done support & administration for a few OEMs, large enterprises, and a few small company short term projects.
Odd specialties include PKI (certificates, SSL, encryption, CA servers, etc.) and smart cards. I am currently part of a dedicated PKI team for a very large organization & have run multiple PKIs at different assurance levels.
I've been on hiatus from EE for a few years but am starting to check in again occasionally. I'm open for gigs that I can do remotely or that would involve very minimal travel since I do have a day job that I plan on keeping. I'm also available for PKI practical skills training to individuals or companies, if interested.
I purposefully do not post my real name or job history here for privacy reasons.
Seems like some people like to track these things, so I guess I will try to keep track too...

Not sure when I took over, but I have been the Overall top person in these categories for awhile now:
Secure Socket Layer (SSL) & HTTPS
SmartCards
SmartCards & Readers
(Yes, SmartCards and Smartcards & Readers are actually two different zones...)
Haven't really been tracking point or rankings... I'll go from here on out... I'm at 638,263 as of right now (3/17/2009) - not too bad I suppose.
6/8/2009 - I am at 913,323 points - lets see if I can scrape together a cool million by the end of my first year posting here. The rankings have been broken for awhile so I don't know where I am these days, but I would imagine I'm well within the top 500 since I think I was nearing that point before the ranking systems went under construction.
7/8/2009 - reached the million point mark in just under a year of posting. Not too shabby I suppose. Whaddya know, I'm a Genius... The rankings page says there are 393 Geniuses in the overall totals - so I guess that's right about where I'm ranked these days since the ranking system is still down.
10/23/2009 - Slowly climbing the ranks now as the overall points are much higher. Now up to #323 with 1,244,387 points - the rankings system is finally back up and running.
12/31/2009 - 1,370,558 points, ranked 300
