I'm a freelance software developer, who's been working with Visual Basic (and surrounding technologies as my main development language for over 8 years now.
Next to this I've used C/C++ to fill in the gaps that were left by VB over the years. This helped me a lot on understanding the Win32 API and Windows architecture.
For the last couple of years I've been working with VB.NET/C#.
Most of the projects I've been involved with over the years, all included MS SQL Server 7.0/2000 as database systems. Which has brought me to a good understanding of database access and stored procedure development.
