I'm a Microsoft SQL Server enthusiast and professional DBA with a colourful background in Windows and .NET development. I currently work for a great company in Windsor-UK.
As part of my job I deal with many aspects and features of Microsoft SQL Server on a daily basis, but my main areas of interest are architectural design best practices, performance optimization, high availability and disaster recovery.
My personal motto is "Born to learn...live to learn" or as we say it in the land of fire and ice "Fædd til að læra...". My childhood heroes include Donald E. Knuth and Anders Hejlsberg ... among a handful of others. ; )
Over the years I've learnt a great deal from the posts in this forum, so as a way of returning in kind to the community I'd like to share what I've learnt and if that helps you resolve your problems I feel more than rewarded. : )
