Practical Modern sendmail Configuration
============================
Based on my Answer to a Question in EE in 2005, this technical paper shows you the right way to configure modern sendmail, using the proper tools. Most *NIX vendors ship lousy sendmail configs that are undocumented at best and screwed-up at worst. I'll show you what they should have sent you.

Secure Remote Access using OpenSSH and rssh
================================
Sure, almost every *NIX these days ships with OpenSSH. But do you really know what sshd_config does? This technical paper covers both building OpenSSH from scratch and configuring it in an understandable and logical fashion.

Defense in Depth: Anti-SPAM for sendmail Environments
======================================
SPAM is a threat to your E-Mail system, whether you run Lotus Notes, Zimbra, Novell GroupWise, OpenExchange, or whatever. Every time a connection is made to your SMTP server, there's a roughly 90% chance it's a spammer looking to attack you. A flexible and adaptive defense is a necessity, and you can implement it without great expense and on commodity hardware.

Controlled Privilege Escalation in Linux/UNIX Environments
=======================================
Privileged access in a *NIX system is a dangerous, double-edged weapon. If you're tired of the sysadmin-equivalent of handing a loaded gun to a 4-year-old, you need to know how to grant system privileges using probably the most common tool available/supported: sudo. This paper shows you both how to build and how to configure the tool properly.

Accessing eDirectory on Modern NetWare Using Perl
===================================
If you'd like to see how you can access and manipulate eDirectory using Perl scripts on modern NetWare, this Appnote will show you the fundamentals. Much of the info is also applicable to accessing eDirectory via other interfaces, such as LDAP, NSN and NDAP.
