I've been developing software on and off since 1969. My main projects included working at FASTechnologies, Inc. developing NC-CAM, a high-end CAD/CAM system for the printed circuit board manufacturing industry, and SmartParts, a complete networking system for the CNC machines used in that industry. Lately, I'm writing a completely new implementation of TCP-IP from the bare metal up, for use on LANs with transient clients (like in hotspots). That one's for www.warmspots.net. It's the most entertaining project I've ever done, starting with the NIC bits and bytes all the way up to SSL, web serving, email, traffic shaping, and a lot more. I'll be happy to help anyone I can here on EE, the greatest technical information resource on the web.
Now I'm the Director of Engineering at Circuit Check, In. (www.circuitcheck.com) building and programming ATE functional test systems. What a blast!
