I have always wanted to start my own business but I feel that it is always better to concentrate on just a few key areas rather than try to cover every area of expertise. The problem, as always, is to identify the several key areas on which to concentrate. Should I stay within my comfort zone or reach out into new areas where I know I have the ability but do not yet have a proven track record? I think I need to ponder on this just a while longer!
Senior Systems and Scheduling Consultant
Perfact Group
January 2011 – Present
These last few years have been very busy acting as the Lead Consultant/Developer to PrimaTasc for the development of MainTasc Enterprise. This complex application has been built with Visual Studio 2010 and uses Microsoft Entity Framework to communicate with Microsoft SQL Server (2005/2008) databases. The application targets the Turnaround Management Tool market. See the attached link to the PrimaTasc website.

The application supports Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 via certified two way interfaces. I have been able to use my scheduling and planning application experience with both Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 during the development of MainTasc Enterprise to assist the developers with these interfaces.

During this period I have also been worked as a scheduling consultant with the integrated planning for the 2011 Naftakraker 3 Turnaround and the 2013 Naftakraker 4 Turnaround for Sabic, Geleen, Nederland.
