I'm currently the escalation engineer for our support team. Our support team is a group of remote engineers who take client issues and attempt to resolve them remotely. If they are not able to resolve them, the issue gets escalated to me. I then decided if it's something I'm able to complete remotely or if it is something that must be done onsite by one of our onsite engineers.
I am also the only remote network engineer. I take any firewall related issues that can be handled remotely.
