My name is Walter Michel Rutten and I am a 28 year old Dutch guitarist and programmer. I have studied theoretical mathematics in Leiden and have been employed as a software developer at a callcenter company for over two years now, using Visual Basic 6 and SQL Server at a fairly advanced level. I particularly enjoy programming the windows API and writing custom type libraries.

Almost all of my VB knowledge has been derived from these great minds that share their knowledge on the internet (you know who you are!). The Expert Exchange gives me an excellent opportunity to fulfill the moral obligation of pouring some of this knowledge back into the community. Besides, I enjoy helping out others, and it is good for my karma. ;-)
