Major Accomplishments : Computer Industry

•Installed and maintained many SERVER ROOM ENVIRONMENTS with racks, clustered RAID array servers running Windows Server 2000/2003, redundant routers/switches, patch panels, UPS’s, leased lines, backup tapes.
•DEPLOYED VARIOUS SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS including Windows 2000/XP/2003 and Office 2000/XP into numerous office environments using anything from the original CD to more advanced methods using software like Microsoft SMS, Microsoft RIS and Shavlik HFNetChk Pro.
•Developed and maintained BACKUP STRATEGIES using software like ntbackup, Veritas, Acronis, Ghost, with hardware including weekly rotational tapes and external hard drives stored offsite.
•Designed and installed from architectural drawing level a COMPLETE OFFICE IT SOLUTION including the network wiring and server/desktop selection and installation.
•Maintained the security, integrity and reliability of numerous NETWORKS using Microsoft and 3rd party software/hardware such as MBSA, McAfee, Symantec, Cisco and various smaller programs like spybot, zonealarm and sygate.
•Built and maintained a network forest on a global scale including the ACTIVE DIRECTORY environment.
•Developed and maintained DATABASES and DATABASE ENVIRONMENTS including multiple SQL servers and mySQL databases.
