(2007 Microsoft Networking infrastructure solutions partner of the year, World Wide)
After months of procrastination i have finally taken the plunge and setup a blog, i will be posting on their fairly regularly (I Hope) http://zanesway.blogspot.com.
i like developing best practices that work for me and not necessarily ICT best practices but about as close to it as i can get.
SAT is currently and always looking for skilled people at all levels, with diverse skill sets able to work at multiple clients and in multiple environments and deal well with pressure. Even international recruitment is not out of the question. i can be contacted either via the contact details on the web site or on email. zane_at_sat_.co.za. ideally you should be living in south africa but no good skills are ever turned away because of where they are.
i have been working on just about everything for the last 12 years.
i have worked in South africa, the middle east, USA and now back in South Africa, i consider myself more of an infrastructure specialist and am able to work with most technologies. i have spent most of the last 7 years doing implementations of infrastructure projects as a infrastructure design specialist, senior technical resource and project manager.
i have worked with active directory, various unix platforms, various DBMS, storage, firewalls, VPNs, call center implementations, exchange etc.
i like to script the hell out of everything in active directory and have about 200 vbscripts used for various purposes.
"laziness is the mother of all invention"
i am always looking for an easier way to do things and usually succeed.
my strongest areas are all things security. Active directory, exchange all versions from 5.0 and windows with a particular focus on automation of AD tasks
