Currently a working computer technician.  Have been involved in computers in one way or another since 1984.
Two of the BBS's I have run are Spies-R-Us (too bad you can't turn the "R" around in ascii, huh???) and Kat's
Korner.  Finding answers to computer questions and dilemmas is a worthy pursuit in my opinion, one I am
happy to say I take pretty seriously...but with humor when possible...what good are computers if you're not
having fun with them? : )

I love computers too much as I can be found on one after spending 9 hours fixing and upgrading them
at work.

Once a "computer widow", I sat at a computer for 6 hours straight trying to figure out how to use several
DOS commands one horrid night over 10 years ago... It was either learn something about computing
or have absolutely nothing in common with my computer freak-programmer-network admin-tech hubby.

I currently own and run 5 computers in my home all on a fun little NT lan that hasn't had a lock-up
in over a year.  

Being female AND a technician is a hurdle I am still getting over...or rather other people are.  I get
asked constantly if I am REALLY a technician, to which I politely reply in the affirmative. ; )

Currently I am in search of software OR hardware that really DOES what it says it does for diagnostics.
None of the ones I have tried works as advertised, so far.
