I started out as an Electrical Engineer in the 70's working with microcomputers when the Intel 8080/8085/Zilog Z80 ruled supreme. I have always worked with microcomputing technologies since then.
I have a Master's degree in Technology.
I put my first Network (Novell Netware 2.0a) in in the mid 80's.
I started coding in Algol/Fortran/Assembler in my engineering degree and have supplemented that with Pascal, many flavours of BASIC, Java and now the .NET languages.
Most recently I taught in the Higher Education sector in Information Systems and now work as a Microsoft Certified Trainer with Dimension Data Learning Solutions in their Melbourne (Australia) office, specialising in .NET Development, SQL Server, SharePoint and PowerShell.
At the age I am now not many of the 'new' technologies actually excite me with what they offer - PowerShell, however, is one of them.
