Became a VB, VBA programmer and database developer February of 2000.  Access, SQL 7.0 for RDMS.

Database programming using VB for development is my primary skill set.  Primarily non-web but have a balance of knowledge in both.  Utilize Javascript and VBscript.

Began programming (light) Fortran in 1986, moved on to database programming (Paradox) as it applies to accounting and administration 1990.  Started programming in Visual basic, VBA, and modifying all (4) office applications in May of 1998.  

Started on web languages html and ASP in 1999.  Transitioned over to IT area from consulting and administration in January of 2000.

Started programming front ends for SQL server and writing VB invoked queries with design, in January of 2000.

Use Crystal Reports on a consistent basis.  Started programming within Crystal in 1999.

Started using XML in October of 2003, and began to use SAX in Nov. 2003.  Using XML for web as well as data transmission and presentation offline.

Primary credential is that I use my applications daily and use a hands-on approach to utilize my programs _on the job_.  Good sense of what works with the end-user.  Knowledge of financial systems ranging from Crystal Reports to mutual fund settlement services.
