Professional Background
System Engineer
Allied Associates International
June 2014 – Present
Mr. Andrews provides systems engineering, systems administration, network administration, and technical writing skills to the DoJ client.  Those duties include the day to day management of multiple internal Microsoft Active Directory networks, maintaining the server and workstation hardware of those networks, and providing network and systems engineering support to upgrade said networks. His duties also cover providing certificate management for the networks using Primary and Intermediate certificate authorities within the different domains, and managing the security patching of all the servers and workstations using internal Windows Update Servers (WSUS) and System Center Configuration Management (SCCM) products. Mr. Andrews is adept with multiple platforms used to manage these large-scale off-site networks. He uses the Cisco Unified Computing Services (UCS) console to help manage and maintain the Cisco server systems in place, and has built several EMC VNXe-3200 SAN systems to provide data storage as well as file sharing NAS systems. Mr. Andrews is also responsible for maintaining the Atlassian products (Confluence, JIRA, and Bamboo) used within the organization to ensure that they are working properly and are secured.
