I'm a newbie in home networking administration, though I've been having computers (Mac&PC) for eighteen years. I'm actually running Windows 2K on both my machines now, and my roommates who I work with on video editing is having a MAC OS 9 G3. Internet with router works all right with the 3 computers, and I'm still fixing network problem between my PIII 600 and my laptop. We're doing movies and sound editing, and we're having ADSL line sharing.
I guess I'll have to say I'm learning everything on my own, with forums and manuals.
So my knowledge is essentialy based on experiencing problem and eventually fixing them. May be they are basic knowledges I don't have, despite I should have a good idea of how computers work...
