Key player in the designing, engineering, installation and maintenance of enterprise LANs and WANs (NIPRNet and SIPRNet) supporting United States European Command (USEUCOM) and United States Africa Command (USAFRICOM). This network utilized multiple technologies and protocols e.g. Cisco routers and switches utilizing BGP, EIGRP, DMVPN, VPN, Port Security, and PPTP; and Symantec, Juniper and Fortinet Firewalls. During my time at EUCOM, I also managed the migration of over 4000 users to a new copper and fiber infrastructure in support of the Installation Information Infrastructure Modernization Program (I3MP). I engineered and implemented hard and soft Virtual Private Network (VPN) solutions at various sites throughout Europe and was recognized as the SME for both VPNs and Encryption technologies. I was directly responsible for the support of residential corporate network connectivity for senior executives and was responsible for the management, configuration, installation and maintenance of communications security equipment (KG-175 and others) and keying material (COMSEC) up to Top Secret level including NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, CENTRIX, Diamond and others. I managed a team of network engineers responsible for the engineering and deployment of encrypted (SIPRNet) and unencrypted (NIPRNet) voice, data and video services at various sites throughout Iraq in support of the Coalition Provisional Authority.  I also engineered and implemented a CISCOWorks solution saving the customer $125,000 in overall product costs and a customer audited savings of over $200,000 per month in lost productivity due to untracked degradation.  I was also responsible for troubleshooting and solving transmission path issues including IP (Cisco), IDNX (Promina), Microwave (LOS) and Satellite (OKET) supporting multiple sites throughout Iraq.  I received a service citation signed by Ambassador Bremer for my efforts in Iraq.
