Have been working on a system in Access that takes user team requirements, builds an evaluation criteria, weighting the issues, imports vendor proposals, matching against user requirements, has the team score the proposals and then runs multiple reports determining the vendor that best meets the requirements.
Benefits:
Reduce meeting time - Allows employee to be more productive
Immediate update of current status
Focus meetings on critical issues - reports clearly show team disparities and issues to be addreesed
Encourage independent thinking - Team Members enter thoughts, questions, comments
Imports Word and Excel documents - Reduces "flipping" through paper documents
