Strategy & Planning
Establish IT departmental goals, objectives, and operating procedures.
Participate in strategic and operational governance processes of the business organization as a member of the senior management team.
Develop, implement, maintain, and oversee enforcement of policies, procedures, and associated plans for system security administration and user system access based on industry-standard best practices.
Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems across the organization.
Assist with the design and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans, procedures, audits, and enhancements.
Collaborate with the appropriate departments to develop and maintain a technology plan that supports organizational needs.
Develop, track, and control the information technology annual operating and capital budgets.
Acquisition & Deployment
Coordinate and facilitate consultation with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations.
Approve, prioritize, and control projects and the project portfolio as they relate to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems.
Manage financial aspects of the IT Department, including purchasing, budgeting, and budget review.
Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.
Negotiate and administer vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts and service agreements.
Oversee the deployment, integration and initial configuration of all new security solutions and of any enhancements to existing security solutions in accordance with standard best operating procedures generically and the enterprise’s security documents specifically.
Define and communicate corporate plans, procedures, policies, and standards for the organization for acquiring, implementing, and operating new security systems, equipment, software, and other technologies.
Manage the administration of all computer security systems and their corresponding or associated software, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, cryptography systems, and anti-virus software.
Ensure continuous delivery of IT services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of IT systems performance.
Supervise recruitment, development, retention, and organization of all technical staff in accordance with corporate budgetary objectives and personnel policies.
Conduct research to remain up-to-date and knowledgeable in regards to industry trends and emerging technologies in anticipation of new business processes and system alterations.
Act as primary liaison for the company’s technology vision via regular written and in-person communications with the organization’s executives, department heads, and end users.
Creatively and independently provide resolution to technical problems in a cost-effective manner.
Develop, track, and control the technical services annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing, and operations.
Manage IT staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
Practice asset management for IT hardware, software, and equipment.
Direct research on potential technology solutions in support of procurement efforts.
Ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data residing on or transmitted to/from/through enterprise workstations, servers and other systems and in databases and other data repositories.
Supervise all investigations into problematic activity and provide on-going communication with senior management.
Perform regular security awareness training for all employees to ensure consistently high levels of compliance with enterprise security documents.
Engage in ongoing communications with peers in the Systems and Networking groups as well as the various business groups to ensure enterprise wide understanding of security goals, to solicit feedback and to foster co-operation.
1. Remove spout of network speed by upgrading network to 1Gbps.
2. Implemented the Centralized data management policy inclusive branch office data synchronization, Tape Media backup and 8 year data retention policy at central location.
3. Enhancement of data center by adding more server and storage.
4. Implemented 24x7 power supply solution for data center at central location.
5. Implementation of ipbx, ip phone, ip video phone & CCTV for enhancement of communication between multiple locations.
6. Implemented the data sharing policy and data store policy as project-wise for smooth project and data management.
7. Implementation of MPLS-VPN between multiple location inclusive international locations.
